• A highly engaging read. Kirsten is a skilled writer who brings you right into the present moment with her, weaving the personal fluidly into an account of walking this famed pilgrimage route. I especially admire Kirsten’s courage to walk El Camino with significant health challenges- and her vulnerability in sharing how challenging it was physically and emotionally. Her story inspires courage to face what is hardest in life. I teach an interdisciplinary liberal arts course on pilgrimage for adult learners, and would recommend this book for insight into El Camino de Santiago, as well as the nature of the inner journey that parallels the physical journey in any pilgrimage.
• Kirsten's resilience and vulnerability captured my heart. I am the sister Jill she wrote about and love her dearly. Soon she will have spinal fusion surgery and I'm praying for her to heal and recover and continue to grace us with her creative loving presence for years to come.
